Cal State San Marcos Track & Field Teams Compete at Steve Scott Invitational

The men’s and women’s track and field teams competed, Sunday, May 2, 2004, at the Steve Scott Invitational, hosted by UC Irvine at Anteater Stadium.

Cal State San Marcos Men’s Results:

100 m dash: Billy Walker, 11th of 43 with 10.90; Kyle Leavy, 22nd with 11.08.

200 m dash: Nick Tyerman, 52nd of 61 with 2:07.88.

1,500 m run: Robbie McClendon, seventh of 62 with 3:52.58; Danny Lyon, 30th with 4:02.21; Eddie Mariscal, 37th with 4:04.71; Nick Tyerman, 57th with 4:22.96.

400 m hurdles: Matt Curran, 31st of 36 with 58.58.

3,000 m steeple chase: Brent Varga, eighth of 11 with 10:21.15.

4x100 m relay: fifth of 11 with 42.15.

Pole vault: James Barbour, 5th of 16 with 4.70 m (15-05.00)

Discus: Ryan Russel, 21st of 22 with 36.99 m (121-04).

100 m dash: Katrena Robinson, 39th of 44 with 13.49.

200 m dash: Meggie Afenir, 40th of 50 with 27.45.

100 m hurdles: Ashleigh Davis, 12th of 32 with 14.84; Meggie Afenir, 14th with 14.91; Taliah Chatterfield, 18th with 15.17.

400 m hurdles: Abril Jimenez, 11th of 29 with 64.06; Ashleigh Davis, 17th with 66.20.

Long jump: Samantha Barbour, 26th of 31 with 4.78 m (15-08.25); Jennifer Hauser, 28th with 4.45 m (14-07.25).
