Classroom Support

Classroom support has involved Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) students at CSUSM, research scientists and project leadership in classrooms to implement CyberTEAM TechQuests. Laptop carts from San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) are available as needed to assure Information and Communication Technology access for all students. A schedule for classroom support is planned to utilize CSIS student time in participating classrooms with each CSIS student having 10 hours per week to support 3 teachers. This support, along with mentoring, is critical to build teacher confidence and ensure success for implementation of technology in the classroom. The CyberTEAM Project also allows check out of a lab of GPS devices for use in project classrooms. Project teachers should contact the project coordinator to reserve the GPS lab.
