Distinguished Teacher in Residence Search

The School of Education is pleased to announce the selection of Regina Anderson as our new Distinguished Teacher in Residence representing Solana Beach School District.  Regina has been a 6th grade science teacher for nine years at Skyline School.  She has a degree in Spanish, a Masters Degree in Education and an Administrative Credential.  She integrates technology in her classroom in various ways including use of a class Web page, use of blogs for conversations regarding concepts learned in class, collaborative wikis, digital presentation tools and students create and publish their work through the use of iPads.  She feels that teachers must foster a classroom community that is collaborative and nurturing with a focus on students' individual needs.
