Certificate - Advanced Study in Video Production in Education
This certificate program provides K-12 teachers with experiences, knowledge of resources, and models for effective implementation of video production with students in their classrooms. The four courses in the certificate are all on-line and provide a variety of experiences in using Web-based tools, project development based on student needs, and implementation of both content and Visual and Performing Arts standards in their curriculum. The experiences prepare teachers to be teacher-leaders in the area of technology in K-12 educational settings. Teachers are encouraged to supplement the certificate courses with additional video production and media courses offered in the College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral & Social Sciences.
