Getting to Campus

Campus Maps, Driving Directions, and Mass Transit Options

Parking

Parking Administration (now located in the Public Safety Building): Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Parking permits are required to park on campus. There is no grace period. New and continuing students can purchase semester parking permits online, at Parking Services located in the Public Safety Building, located 3rd floor Craven Hall. Cashiers

The University Cashiers are located in Cougar Central, Craven Hall 3900. Students with questions or problems concerning fees, holds, refunds, or payment deadlines are encouraged to call the Cashiers' Information Line at (760) 750-4490 at the earliest opportunity.

Transcripts

Transcripts are not automatically sent. There is no charge for official academic transcripts. Please order transcripts online from Registration & Records.

Disabled Student Services

Support services are available to assist students with special needs in the academic setting. Students with mobility limitations, psychological or learning disabilities, and/or hearing or visual impairments are encouraged to contact Disabled Student Services as soon as possible to arrange for services. E-Mail Accounts at CSUSM

Every Cal State San Marcos student is given a student e-mail address at enrollment. The campus uses this e-mail address to communicate important information to you - it is your responsibility to activate and check your e-mail regularly. Kellogg Library

Photo ID Cards

In conjunction with University Police, Photo ID Cards are issued at Kellog Library.  Student Cards cost $5.00 (cash or check only). Identification cards, which have the student's photo imprinted on them, are required to check out library books and write checks on campus.

University Police Department (EMERGENCY - Call 750-3111)

The University Police Department is located in the University Services Building, 441 La Moree Road. The main telephone number is (760) 750-4567. The University Police Department provides the following campus community services:

• Escorts service from dusk to dawn
• University lost and found
• Crime prevention/awareness presentations
• Rape aggression Defense (RAD) self defense program for women

University Store

The University Store is located in The Commons complex in the heart of the campus.  The store offers all campus course materials, general interest books, technical books, school and office supplies and has a full selection of Cal State San Marcos clothing and gifts.
