Information For

Non-Cohort Course Options

For those students who have already taken more than one CSD Prep course and still plan on seeking the Communicative Sciences and Disorders Preparation Certificate, you can register for courses each semester AFTER the CSD Prep Cohort students have had a two week priority enrollment period. After that time and based on seat availability, the courses will be opened up for non-Cohort students to enroll.

This option is for:

  • Students matriculated* into the University but not part of the CSD Prep Cohort
  • Students who are not matriculated** into the University but are not able to participate in the CSD Prep Cohort

All of the CSD prerequisite courses will be offered consecutively beginning in the Spring term, followed by the Summer and Fall terms. The courses are organized so students have the ability to complete all prerequisites by the following priority application deadline for the M.A. of Education, Option in Communicative Sciences and Disorders Program.

Students who apply and complete all of the CSD Prep Program courses will receive the Communicative Sciences and Disorders Preparation Certificate.
