Communicative Sciences and Disorders Preparation Program
California State University San Marcos Extended Learning is now offering a fully online CSD Preparation Program to prepare students for a Master of Arts in Education, Option in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (CSD.) The CSD Prep program is designed for individuals missing all of the prerequisites for the CSD Masters Program at CSUSM. Priority admission is given to those applicants who have not completed any of the prerequisites upon evaluation. The courses are offered during the Spring, Summer and Fall terms in order to prepare applicants for the January priority application deadline.
The CSD Preparation Program is a full-time cohort program. In order to be eligible to participate in this Program, students will be required to take specific, chronological courses beginning Spring 2015.
Beginning in Spring 2015, this program is NOT eligible for financial aid. We are working diligently with the Chancellor's Office to determine financial aid eligibility.
Students will be able to waive only one course throughout the program. Students will need to submit their transcripts in order to waive the one course.
Students who apply and complete all of the CSD Prep Program courses will receive a University Communicative Sciences and Disorders Preparation Certificate.
Applications for the Spring 2015 CSD Prep Cohort are now open. Applications must be received by December 1st, 2014 to be fully considered.
