Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist
The Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist (ADR) program will prepare you for an exciting career in alternative dispute resolution. ADR is the practice of seeking nonlegal alternatives to resolving conflicts and disputes. Through this three-course program, you'll learn valuable mediation skills in addition to specialty skills that relate to specific areas of ADR, such as workplace alternative dispute resolution or eldercare alternative dispute resolution. Offered in partnership with Mediators without Borders®, this program includes a 60-hour online internship and the opportunity to become an MwB Certified Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist. In addition, the HR Certification Institute has preapproved this program for recertification credit for HR professionals.
All textbooks are included, and you'll have the opportunity to take one core course on mediation in addition to two specialty courses of your choosing. Upon graduation, you'll have the option to join the Mediators without Borders® Society for an annual membership fee.

The Payroll Practice and Management Online Training Program will teach you all facets of payroll, from the basics to the complexity of fringe benefits, taxation, and garnishments. If you're new to the field, you'll acquire solid skills and knowledge of payroll rules and regulations. If you have payroll experience, this program will refresh your skills, keep you up-to-date with regulations, and provide a thorough review for the Certified Payroll Professional test given by the American Payroll Association.
Records Management
This power-packed program will teach you how to manage electronic records and conquer the paper pile-up. The Records Management Online Training Program will give you an introduction to the profession of records and information management. It focuses on establishing and managing successful organization-wide records management programs.
The textbook and materials for this program are included.
Human Resources Certificate on campus
Each of the eight certificate courses in our HR Management Certificate program meets for seven sessions, one night a week, allowing you to complete the certificate in approximately one year. Or, courses can be taken individually to cater to your interest.
Days/Time: Tuesdays or Thursdays, 6 - 9 p.m.
This program is designed for HR professionals, small business owners, and others who are responsible for the human resource function within their companies and focuses on the myriad day-to-day HR related responsibilities.
