Cross-Cultural Communication: Driving Performance While Avoiding Landmines
Today’s workplace is experiencing a fast-paced cultural revolution. There are more employees from different nations and cultures working in our organizations than ever before. Communication effectively across all of these cultures is a challenge fraught with potential landmines. What are the core competencies needed to communicate with all of our employees, regardless of nationality and/or culture? How do we manage people who are uncomfortable with direct commands or who only respond well when there is group consensus? How do we motivate employees for whom English is a second or even third language? These are just some of the burning questions this class answers.
This is a core course in the Enhanced Core Communication Skills for Professionals Certificate.
