Dodging Delegation Disasters: You Can't Do It All!

The biggest transition a new supervisor makes is the transition from doing the work to distributing the work. Questions abound. Which tasks do I keep and which do I give away? Who should I delegate to? Should I micro-manage or let the employee figure it out for him/herself? This course will give you answers and the tools you need. You will learn to analyze your workload and identify the obstacles that keep you trapped in the doing. You will learn to choose the right person for the job, to define outcomes that empower employees and to give them the information they need to be successful. Finally, you will learn to “let go,” knowing that you have delegation skills that get results.
