Feedback Basics: Delivery is Everything!
When it comes to motivating employees to repeat productive behaviors or stop destructive ones, successful supervisors understand that it’s not simply what you say, it’s how you say it! They also understand that productivity is connected to the relationship between the employee and the supervisor. With that in mind, whether it’s positive or corrective feedback, effective supervisors choose their words carefully, they deliver the message and they make sure it is received, understood and creates motivation. In this course, you will identify the specific employee behaviors you want repeated and those you want stopped or altered. You will learn the steps of effective feedback and if practice makes perfect – in this course you will – practice! You will leave confident that you can give feedback that increases employee productivity.
