Fundamentals for Meeting and Event Planners
This lively introductory class will introduce you to the profession of meeting and event planning. Learn what it takes to get started as a meeting and event professional, what job opportunities exist and how to establish a career path within the profession. Discussions will emphasize best practices in the industry as well as common pitfalls to avoid. You’ll leave this class with a clear understanding of the overall industry and how you can be a part of it.
This is a core course in the Meeting and Event Planning Certificate Program.
