Independent Meeting Professional

Are you seeking a new full- or part-time career and considering starting your own meeting and event planning business? This class will provide you with the basic need-to-know tools of how to get your business started. You will learn the obvious, and not so obvious, things you need for planning, preparing and being consistently recognized as a meeting planner of choice that delivers quality service events. Your facilitator will share how she transitioned from a corporate industry professional position to pursue her passion of planning meetings and events.

This is a Career Perspective Elective in the Meeting and Event Planning Certificate Program.
