Inventory and Logistics Management
The storage, record keeping, and flow of inventory and its efficient transportation and delivery to customers has proven to be one of the most focused–upon elements of the modern supply chain. Inventory often comprises 50% or more of the capital outlay of a firm, and logistical efficiency has a profound effect on a company’s long-term viability.
This class provides an introduction to World-Class Inventory Management and Distribution tools and Logistics Principles, including Warehousing, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, and International Logistics.
