Scholarships for Survey of Water Management in Southern California (MGMT 482)

The CSUSM Water Management Scholarship Fund is able to offer a limited number of scholarships to students enrolled in the course. 

The number and amount of scholarships awarded is dependent on the donations received from individuals and organizations in the local water and business industry. 

The purpose of the scholarship fund is to promote enrollment in the course by individuals interested in pursuing a career in the water management industry and its related organizations.

Eligibility and Application Requirements:

  1. Employees of a water organization that provide a scholarship for water students enrolled in the course Survey of Water Management in Southern California (MGMT 482) are not eligible.
  2. Students must submit a completed scholarship application, a current resume and a 300-word essay discussing their academic and career interest in the water management industry using the link in the Cougar Courses site for the course, no later than March 31st, 2014.
  3. Students must successfully complete requirements of MGMT 482 and attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled classes and water facility tours.

The Water Program Scholarship Committee will review all completed applications and award scholarships based on available funds.  Scholarships awarded will not exceed 80% of the tuition and fees for the course.  Students will receive the scholarship after successful completion of the course.
