One cohort of 50 students will be admitted to the San Marcos campus during the Spring semester. Classes will be held on campus and at the School of Nursing facility. Clinical rotations will vary and students will be placed in skilled nursing facilities and hospitals throughout San Diego County. Students who attend either location may be required to participate in distance education and videoconferencing. This will allow the integration of standard teaching tools and media into the curriculum, with complete control and the ability to archive course sessions for on-demand distribution.
