Kinesiology Degree Program Requirements
2-Year Program Cycle
B.S. in Kinesiology - Option: Applied Exercise Science
The B.S. in Kinesiology program at Camp Pendleton will be a cohort-based program consisting of 2-years part-time study. Each student will be required to complete 63 semester units of study in residence with CSUSM. The program is designed to be completed in 9 academic terms, including summers. Each year, CSUSM will admit a new Pendleton cohort during Fall Semester (late-August). All lecture classes will be held onsite at Camp Pendleton; however, lab classes may be held at the CSUSM main-campus located in San Marcos.
Admissions Requirements
- Completion of the equivalent of 60 semester units of study at a community college or university;
- Minimum 2.0 GPA in the last 60 semester units completed;
- Completion of CSU general education transfer requirements;
- Completion of an Extended Learning pre-advising application form;
- Application to the CSU (will be distributed at program information sessions).
CSU Lower-Division General Education Requirements
The CSU lower-division GE requirements must be completed prior to admission to CSUSM.
