The RN to BSN program at California State University San Marcos is a part-time program designed for the working RN. Upon completion of this program students will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN). The BSN degree allows individuals to assume leadership roles within the clinical setting and establishes a foundation for graduate-level studies. The program is designed for students who currently possess an ADN degree from a regionally accredited institution.
The program is designed to fulfill the needs of the working RN. Classes are offered online and semesters are 8 weeks long. All course work required for degree completion may be completed within 6 academic terms including summer sessions.
Cal State San Marcos Nursing programs are accredited with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. The RN to BSN online program will submit a substantive change for online modality to CCNE no later than 90 days after launch.
