- Summer
We hold three terms per year. Fall and spring terms are 6-10 weeks long and summer is 5-6 weeks. We offer courses in 15 locations throughout North San Diego County and Temecula.
Membership is required to participate in our program. It is renewable every fall term. Benefits include access to stimulating, affordable courses in a variety of subjects, free parking, free participation in inter-session discussion groups, special events, quarterly newsletters, and discounts on select non-credit Extended Learning classes. Also as a student of CSUSM you can enjoy discounts on local attractions through our campus ASI. We offer two types of memberships:
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP: Pay $15 membership fee and " pay as you go" for actual courses and trips.
Prices vary depending on the number of weeks in the course series (i.e. 5 weeks = $70, 6 weeks = $80, 10 weeks = $125, etc.) Most courses are structured as 2 hours per week (for 4, 5, 6, 8 or 10 weeks) offered once a week, on the same day of the week, in the morning (9:30 am - 11:30 am) or in the afternoon (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm).
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP: Pay $310 ($575 per couple)
Pay one fee in the fall and select an unlimited number of courses from 90+ offerings throughout the year (nominal fees may apply for special courses with limited enrollment such as the wine appreciation class in which case, there would be a materials fee, but the class would still be free for annual members). We suggest you wait until the fall term to select this option so that you will have all three terms (Fall 2012, Spring 2013, and Summer 2013) to enjoy the courses.
