Membership Options
General Membership ($35): Pay a yearly administrative fee of $35 and then pay as you go (prices vary depending on length of course). OLLI members receive newsletters, and invitations to special events and priority enrollment in destination learning courses. Then "pay as you go" for the courses. Prices vary depending on the number of weeks in the course series (i.e. 6 weeks = $70, 5 weeks = $60, 10 weeks = $110, etc.) Most courses are structured as 2 hours per week (for 4, 5, 6, 8 or 10 weeks) offered once a week, on the same day of the week, in the morning (9:30 am - 11:30 am) or in the afternoon (1:00 pm - 3:00 pm). We also offer destination learning (usually one specific date for a period of 3-5 hours).
General Member Example:
First Class = $35.00 Annual Administrative Fee (payable once every 12 months)
+ $ 50.00 Class Fee
$85.00
Any additonal class will only be the cost of the course
Annual membership ($295 / $525 per couple): Pay one annual fee and enjoy an unlimited number of course per year (over 100 courses to choose from), discounts on all Extended Learning non-credit courses, CSUSM library card and membership in Reader’s Circle with invitations to special events, and some local restaurant discounts, and priority enrollment in destination learning courses. *There are some exclusions such as cost wine and food in wine tasting classes, costs of materials in hands on classes, occasional cost of books, and destination learning courses where we provide bus transportation, etc.
