CSUSM Extended Learning offers a wide range of highly interactive professional certificate programs that you can take entirely over the Internet. All courses include expert instructors, many of whom are nationally known authors. Our online courses are affordable, fun, fast, and convenient. Many of our online programs are WIA and MyCAA funding eligible. Please check our website or call our office for eligible courses.

Career Training

Typically 3-6 months in length and approximately 40-400 hours of training. At the end of the program, you will be trained to start a new career or have attained an industry credential or national certification. You'll get all the materials and instructor assistance you need to have a truly comprehensive learning experience. Career Training Portal

Professional Development

Quick 6-week, $95 courses, offering a broad range of topics from basic computer applications to Veterinary Assistant. Courses begin monthly. Each course utilizes a combination of instructor and fellow student discussions, and plenty of practical information that you can put to immediate use.

Legal Studies

CSUSM partners with the Center for Legal Studies, a legal education provider focused on providing students with affordable and effective legal education. Curriculum is delivered to students in live lecture, online, DVD, VHS, and Text-only formats, providing our students with the flexibility necessary to achieve their academic goals while continuing with their everyday lives. Our most popular programs include Core and Advanced Paralegal Studies Certifications as well as Legal Nurse Consultant training. Sessions start six times a year and are offered in seven week sessions.
