The MA in Education degree with the Option in Communicative Sciences and Disorders program will prepare San Diego area students for practice in the field of speech-language pathology. This program has a focus on practice in the public schools, but will prepare individuals to practice across the entire scope of the field.
California State University San Marcos Extended Learning is now offering a Fully Online CSD Preparation Program to prepare students for a Master of Arts in Education, Option in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (CSD.) The CSD Preparation Program is comprised of the prerequisite courses necessary to apply for the CSUSM M.A. in Education, CSD degree program. The courses are offered during the Spring, Summer and Fall terms in order to prepare applicants for the January priority application deadline.
The CSUSM Speech-Language Clinic is designed to serve our community providing services to individuals throughout the lifespan with communication impairments, and improving their quality of life. We serve approximately 70 ? clients annually providing diagnostic and therapeutic services. We offer individual, group, and aphasia couples therapy. Clinic services are provided by graduate students under direct supervision of state licensed and an American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificated nationally speech-language pathologists.
