Communicative Sciences and Disorders Prep Program

All of the M.A. Education, CSD prerequisite courses will be offered consecutively beginning in the Spring term, followed by the Summer and Fall terms. The courses are organized so students have the ability to complete all prerequisites by the following priority application deadline.

The following courses are offered through the University and current CSUSM students may register through their MyCSUSM account.


Non-CSUSM student must register through Open University and follow these instructions:

1. Complete the "Quick Admit" form via the Extended Learning web site.

2. Attend the first day of class. If the instructor approves your admission to the class, obtain a 'permission number' and register at the Registration Desk in Cougar Central. If the course has prerequisites, you will need to have the instructor sign the 'Course Prerequisite Waiver & Add Form' and turn this in to Registration and Records with your permission number. 

3. Tuition and Registration Fees are due at the time of registration, and can be paid online or at the Cashier's Office in Cougar Central, which is located in Craven Hall 3rd floor.
