Teacher Professional Development

CSUSM Extended Learning works to connect teachers, administrators and school districts with the wide variety of professional development opportunities offered thoughout San Diego County.

In partnership with the North County Professional Development Federation, the San Diego Office of Education and various educational training organizations, CSUSM offers university credit for participation in a variety of workshops and training sessions.

iPAD Essentials for the Teacher
This workshop is designed to provide the essential elements for effective & maximum use of the iPad for teacher and classroom use. We will explore and apply the "must know" of the iPad environment, install the "Top Ten for Teacher" apps, and explore the never ending list to support the learner. (Participants are required to bring an iPad to the training session)
