Teacher Performance Assessment Preparation
Extended Learning now offers two programs to help prepare and support teaching credential candidates with the Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA).
TPA ASSESSOR TRAINING
The TPA Assessor Training program trains participants to be TPA Support Assessors and lead TPA Support Sessions for Tasks 1-4. Once an assessor is trained in all four tasks they may be hired on to lead the TPA Support sessions at colleges and univerisities.
TPA SUPPORT SESSIONS
All teaching credential candidates who have not received a passing score of 3 or 4 on Tasks 1, 2, 3, or 4 of the Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) may attend a support session. The sessions are conducted by assessors that have been trained by the California Teacher Credential Office.
