2. Do you accept Spring applications?
No, EOP at CSUSM is open for Fall admissions only.
3. Who is eligible to apply?
New incoming Freshman and Transfer students.
4. How do I apply?
Apply online at www.csumentor.edu. Applicants must first apply to the CSU before the system will allow access to the EOP application. Applicants may also complete and submit hard copy applications in circumstances where internet access is not easily accessible. Be sure to make and keep a copy of all forms for your records.
5. What does an EOP application include?
Complete EOP applications include an Applicant Information Form and two Recommendation forms. Income verification may be required if FAFSA information is not accessible or is inconsistent.
6. Will my application be accepted if application materials are postmarked by February 15th but are received after this date?
Yes, EOP application forms are accepted permitting the postmark date is on or before the deadline. The online application is available up to
February 15th (11:59 with 59 seconds) before it is permanently closed.

8. Is the February 15th deadline true for all EOP programs within the CSU system?
No, all EOP programs have different deadlines. Applicants must confirm application deadlines with each prospective EOP campus.

10. Do students in community college EOPS programs automatically qualify for the Educational Opportunity Program?
No, all students must apply to EOP regardless of prior program participation.
11. Does your EOP Office provide CSU application fee waivers?
Fee waiver eligibility is automatically determined with your online CSU application. Current EOPS students should contact their EOPS Office for additional fee waiver information.
