2013 SUMMER BRIDGE

The Educational Opportunity Summer Bridge Program is designed to improve students' mathematics and writing skills.  Student's placement scores in the following will be required to participate in the Summer Bridge Program:

ELM score below 50 and EPT score below 138.

Students will get a head start on the Cal State San Marcos University experience by participating in Summer Bridge. Summer Bridge requires that students live on campus during the five week program duration. The EOP program will cover residential costs.  Students are responsible for their personal costs (meals).

Students must submit an application by May 1, 2013. A program representative will also contact students required to participate in Summer Bridge as a condition of their EOP admission.

Summer Bridge Dates: (5 Weeks)

  June 22 – July 26, 2013

The program requires mandatory participation Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 9:00 pm

Important Information Regarding ELM and EPT
Placement tests may be taken on our campus or any other CSU. If taken at another CSU you will need to ensure that our campus receives a copy of the results. All students are required to take the ELM/EPT tests by May 4, 2013 (unless exempt). For more information visit: www.ets.org/csu.
