The Faculty Director for Recruitment & Success in the Office of Diversity, Educational Equity, Inclusion and Ombuds will work primarily on the development of faculty recruitment and retention initiatives with partners across the CSUSM community. This Faculty Director will support the shepherding and attainment of Goal 1 of the Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Plan (DISP), and focus primarily on Objectives 3 and 4 (see below) and related Action Items. This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in the ongoing work to further sustainable diversity in the CSUSM faculty.

The Faculty Director for Inclusive Excellence in the Office of Diversity, Educational Equity, Inclusion and Ombuds will support the shepherding and attainment of Goal 2 of the Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Plan (DISP), with primary focus on Objectives 1 and 3 Action Items (1.2, 1.7, and 3.1 as noted below). This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in the ODEEIO in support of University-wide efforts to promote the development of students’ skills, knowledge and abilities related to diversity, equity, inclusion and social change.

The Faculty Fellow for the Office of Diversity, Educational Equity, Inclusion and Ombuds will work primarily on a research and/or action project of their own design which supports the goals of the Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Plan (DISP) and generally contributes to diversity, equity and inclusion within the CSUSM community. This is an opportunity to receive support to implement a project you believe will make a difference toward inclusive excellence at CSUSM.
