1. How do I gain access to the 25Live Event Portal?

To gain access to the 25Live Event Portal simply click on the '25Live Training' section on the lefthand navigation. Once there you can view training videos, print hangouts as well as make a request to have your account created. Please note that access to the event portal is restricted to current Faculty and Staff, as well as students who have been designated as requestors by a recognized student organization.

2. How do I get to the 25live Event Portal?

To access the Event Portal we recomend you use Mozilla Firefox version 3 or highter, or Google's Chrome Browser. Once open. navigate to the CSUSM homepage at http://www.csusm.edu. Next click on the Calendars and Events link located towards the middle of the page. You will see a 25Live Event Portal button/link on the top of the resulting calendars page. You can also make a shortcut to https://gala.csusm.edu/25live for direct access.

3. Using the Chrome browser I see messages saying "This page Contains the following errors:"

If you see this error above you must clear the cache from google Chrome using the following steps

  1. Click the wrench icon in the top right of the screen 
  2. In the resulting drop-down if you hover your mouse over “tools” you will see a new window open, click the “clear browsing data” from that menu.
  3. You only have to check “Empty the cache” and “Delete cookies and other site data” all others can be left alone.
  4. From the drop-down “Clear data from this period:” at the bottom Select “Everything”  and then click Clear browsing data.

4. How can I see events that I have requested?

Here you have a couple of options. If you want to see a list of events.
  1. Sign in to the 25Live Event Portal.
  2. Click the "Events" tab at the top of the portal.
  3. Click the "Pre-Defined Searches" tab.
  4. in the list of Custom Groups on the right side of the page click "events You have Requested" this will fetch either a List or Calendar view (depending on the tab selected) of th events that you have requested.
  5. NOTE: by default the List view will show only "Current and Future Events" If you would like to see ALL of your events, or a different date range click the "Dates" field to change.

If you would like to see a calendar of your events, posibly to print.

  1. Sign in to the 25Live Event Portal.
  2. Select the Calendar view using the tab on the far right, just below the "Help" button.
  3. Once in the Calendar view you can use the "Showing" dop-down list to select "Events you have Requested"
  4. you can then use the "Dates" option to the right of the showing drop-down to control the time-frame that you are viewing.
