1. How do I gain access to the Events Viewer?
To gain access to the eRFU form simply click on the 'eRFU Training' section on the lefthand navigation. Once there you can view the training and make a request to have your account created. Please note that access to the eRFU is restricted to current Faculty and Staff, as well as students who have been designated as requestors by a recognized student organization.
2. How do I get to the Events Viewer?
To access the Events Viewer open a browser and, click on any of the Campus Calendars located at http://www.csusm.edu/calendar.
You can also make a shortcut to http://events.csusm.edu/wv3 for direct access.
3. How do I request an event?
- Clicking the "Locations" link on the top left of the Events Viewer will take you to the locations grid page.
- Select the type of space from the 'Filters' listed on the right side of the viewer.
- 'Clicking' on an empty timeslot will then take you to the eRFU request form. (If you are not already signed in, you will be prompted for your Campus username and password.)
4. Which of the Campus Calendars will my event display on?
One of the most important selections in the eRFU process is to select which of the Campus Calendars you wish your event to display.

5. How can I contact the Event Scheduler working on my event?
The Best way to contact the Event Scheduler working on your event is through e-mail.
You can reply to the event acknowledgment e-mail that you received when you submitted your event initially.
Or
- If you are a Staff or Faculty member on your campus computer.
- Clicking the "My Requests" link on the top left of the Events Viewer (if you are not already signed in, you will be prompted for your username and password).
- Click Pending.
- If your event has been submitted recently and not addressed by a Scheduler you will be able to see your event(s) under the "Drafts" area. Simply Click on the scheduler's name for the target event, under the "Scheduler" column
- Events that have been addressed by the Events Schedulers will be listed under "Event Status". Click on the scheduler's name for the target event, under the "Scheduler" column.
6. How can I see space information? Are all rooms SMART?
By using the Locations link at the top left of the Events Viewer you will see a grid listing of spaces and events occurring in each. If you click on the space name on the left side of the grid a pop-up window will appear with information about the space that you have selected.
Currently there are some spaces that are not equipped with smart technology. If you do not see "Smart Room" listed under the Features you can still submit your event. It is important to ask in the notes section for a SMART room and Event and Conference Services will work with you.
