Upper-division transfer applicants will be eligible for regular admission if they meet the following requirements:
For fall admission, all requirements must be completed by the end of the preceding spring term. For spring admission, all requirements must be completed by the end of the preceding summer term.
Transfer students must submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities previously attended at the time of application for admission. If you have taken an Advanced Placement (AP) exam or International Baccalaureate (IB) exam, submit an official score report. Scores from SAT or ACT examinations are not required for upper-division transfer applications.
While not required to meet minimum admissions requirements, transfer students can additionally complete courses which prepare for the major of choice. Students who are attending a California Community College are encouraged to use ASSIST.org to determine transferability and applicability of courses taken at a California Community College. In addition, prospective transfer students are encouraged to use the Transfer Planner on CSU Mentor to track your progress. (You will be required to create a free account on CSU Mentor to use this service.)
