Water Conservation
We live in an arrid environment, averaging only nine inches of ranifall a year. As demand for water increases and supplies diminish, we need to be increasingly aware of how we use our water. CSUSM has implemented many conservation measures to increase our water efficiency. All of our buildings have low flow faucets, toilets, and water-less urinals. Additionally, we have installed computerized irrigation controllers that monitor water use and can detect leaks. We also focus our landscape efforts to utilize drought tolerant plants. If you see any leaks or broken sprinkler heads, please report them to facilityservices@csusm.edu
