CS 481 - Introduction to Mobile Programming (Fall 2017)

The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2017 to teach CS 481 - Introduction to Mobile Programming.  The course meets on Fridays from 2:30 PM to 5:15 PM.  Catalog description of the course:  Introduces students to the fundamentals of developing applications for mobile devices including smart phones and tablets. Common issues and special consideration for programming on mobile devices will be discussed. Software engineering principles in project design and human computer interaction will be applied. Students will also learn about the development cross-platform mobile Web applications. May not be taken for credit by students who have received credit for CS 497-2. Prerequisites: CS 351 or CIS 444

Minimum requirements for the position include:  a MS in Computer Science or related fields

Preferred requirements for the position include: Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.
