The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time laboratory instructor for the CHEM 201L: Organic Chemistry laboratory course in the Spring 2014 semester. This lab will meet once a week for 6 hours and is the first of two organic chemistry labs offered by the department to science majors. The candidate should have experience in teaching college-level organic chemistry laboratory courses.
Course Description - CHEM 201L - The laboratory experiments are designed to illustrate the basic techniques of organic chemistry and to complement the lecture material covered in CHEM 201.
Minimum qualifications for the position include: a Master's Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
Timeline: A review of applications will begin as early as October 21, 2013, however, the position will remain open until filled.
