The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time laboratory instructor for the CHEM 404L: Inorganic Chemistry laboratory course in the Spring 2014 semester. This lab will meet once a week for 3 hours and is the inorganic chemistry lab offered by the department to science majors. The candidate should have experience in teaching a college-level inorganic chemistry laboratory course.
Course Description - CHEM 404L - Designed to introduce the students majoring in science to laboratory techniques for the manipulation, synthesis, and characterization of inorganic compounds. Principles of structure and bonding, spectroscopy, magnetic characterization, thermodynamics and kinetics of inorganic compounds introduced in CHEM 404 are demonstrated in laboratory experiments.
Minimum qualifications for the position include: a Master's Degree in Chemistry.
