Mathematics

California State University San Marcos has an opening for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in the Math department starting August 2014. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics (or equivalent) and research expertise in Graph Theory. A strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate and master's level teaching is required. Depth and breadth of mathematical expertise and a commitement to mathematical research are also important.

(See below) The teaching statement should include a teaching philosophy, teaching interests and teaching experience. The research statement should indicate future research plans, but may include a description of mathematical background, interest and past reserach.
