Systems Operations and Development
Systems Operations and Development provides technical and operations support to the users of finance and other administrative automated systems. Services include planning and managing system change, technical assistance in system error analysis and correction, functional analysis of user requirements, system design and analysis, program coding and testing, documentation preparation, conduct technical training, project planning, and management and computer operations support. Our clients include Fiscal Operations, Student Financial Services, Accounts Receivable users, Management, Finance and Administrative staff, Instructional and Information Technology Services, and Divisional and Departmental Budget Managers.
- Met go-live dates for PeopleSoft Implementation of General Ledger, Accounts Payables and Purchasing and Labor Cost Distribution modules.
- Trained 200 end users on the following PeopleSoft functionality:
- Inquiry and Reports
- Expenditure and Budget Transfers
- On-line requisitions
- nVision reporting
- Developed and delivered PeopleSoft Query training to the Operational users.
- Assisted Accounting in developing and monitoring year-end closing calendar, GAAP data conversion, and FIRMS submissions that resulted in the timely close of year-end.
- Developed an Access database that integrates Banner Accounts Receivables activity to PeopleSoft Accounts Receivables account balances to enhance the monthly reconciliation process.
