Fall Library Exhibit- Wounded Hearts: A Journey Through Grief

Dear colleagues:

Please save the date if you'd like to attend the fall exhibit reception on Thursday, September 8th,  at 7 pm in the Reading Room. 

The exhibit has personal significance for many in the campus and local communities-- instructor and artist Colleen Moss created the series for her late husband. You may remember Tom Wahlund, a CSUSM Biology professor who passed away suddenly in 2008. He was loved by students and colleagues on campus.  

I hope you can come to the reception or visit the exhibit sometime this semester, on display Sept 8-Dec 8, open during all library hours. Since the Context: Library Series is funded in part by instructionally-related grants, feedback from students is incredibly important. I'm happy to discuss ways in which the exhibit might support classes. Information about grief counseling services will be available in the exhibit area.
