Faculty Fellow Opportunity

The Faculty Center is pleased to announce an opportunity for a faculty member to serve as the Faculty Mentoring Program Faculty Fellow (FMP-FF) for AYs 2010-12. We especially welcome applications from faculty who have participated in the FMP program as mentors and are now interested in taking on leadership responsibilities.

Application process:

Submit a ONE page letter of interest detailing your past experience with program and reasons for your interest in the position. Also include CV (condensed CV is acceptable).
Time Commitment: 3-9 hours per week (varies over the year)
Compensation: 1 course release for Spring 2011
Deadline for Applications: 4 p.m., Friday, September 10, 2010, due by e-mail to facctr@csusm.edu
Term: AY 10/11 with option to extend to 11/12
Eligibility: Any tenure-line or adjunct faculty may apply.
Preferably the FMP-FF will
•    Have served successfully as a Mentor in the program for at least one year prior to applying for the position;
•    Be committed to attending and hosting program activities; and
•    Have experience or interest in mentoring
•    Have ideas on seeking growth opportunities for the program
