The Student Protégé:

 • Is a first-generation college student and/or can demonstrate financial need, and is a junior or senior

• Works with the mentor to establish a schedule of meetings throughout the academic term, and keeps to the schedule of meetings

• Raises questions and concerns to the faculty mentor about her/his academic progress

• Participates with the mentor in FMP events

• Is eligible for FMP workshops, graduation activities, and grant support for graduate school admissions testing

• Communicates regularly with the Faculty Mentoring Staff in the Faculty Center
