Faculty Center Professional Development Grant
FINAL REPORT
Whatever award received, a final report must be submitted. The purpose of the report is twofold. First, it assesses the value of the experience for the grantee. Second, it helps the Faculty Center evaluate the importance of this kind of funding and make a convincing argument at budget time for additional resources. The final report should detail how this support benefited your professional goals.
1. Specify accomplishments.
- With seed grant support, what final proposal did you write and submit?
- With travel support, what were the results of your trip?
- Did you secure a contract, or receive feedback allowing you to refine a manuscript?
- Did you collect important research data?
2. The report should not exceed 200 words.
3. The submission of the final report will vary:
Travel: You must submit a written report with a copy of the travel claim form and receipts to the Faculty Center within 10 days of travel.
Research: Within six months of making your purchase, you must submit a written report with a copy of the purchase requisition form and receipts to the Faculty Center.
Teaching/Learning: By the end of the semester immediately following the purchases of an instructional item or the participation in a workshop, you must submit a written report with a copy of receipts to the Faculty Center.
