Lecturer faculty have a long history at CSUSM, providing instruction to thousands of students. Teaching and learning resources are available to support instructors. Instructional Development Services provides assistance with academic technology, including the course management system, Cougar Courses.

There are a number of resources to help us connect with and contribute to the academic community: The Lecturer Newsletter provides information relating to professional development opportunities, campus resources, campus community developments, lecturer achievements and contributions. The Cougar Community for lecturers is an electronic space for lecturers to communicate with one another. Additionally, there are face-to-face Faculty Center events designed to support lecturers and build our sense of community. There are opportunities to provide service to the academic community, some specifically representing lecturers.

Employment information, such as policies and procedures related to evaluation, are posted on the Faculty Affairs website. Faculty rights and responsibilities are delineated in the CBA (Contract Bargaining Agreement) negotiated between the California Faculty Association (CFA) and the CSU.

We hope you make use of the information available on this website. Please send any questions, comments, ideas to the Lecturer Faculty Fellow at lecturers@csusm.edu
