Federal Grants
Federal Pell Grant - Provides grant assistance to students who demonstrate the greatest financial need. Applicants must be seeking their first bachelor's degree or admitted to a post-baccalaureate teacher credential program and enrolled in major core courses. Pell Grant eligibility is based on FAFSA information.
Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant (TEACH Grant) - provides grants of up to $4,000 per year to students who intend to teach in a public or private elementary or secondary school that serves students from low-income families. If, after reading all of the information on this fact sheet, you are interested in learning more about the TEACH Grant Program, you should contact the financial aid office at the college where you will be enrolled.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) - Provides grant assistance for undergraduates who are eligible for a Pell Grant and who demonstrate the greatest financial need.
