Almost all forms that you can pick up in the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office are also available on the Web.

Using Cal State San Marcos SmartWeb to access your financial aid information:

SmartWeb allows you to access you financial aid file and review documents received or needed, your award and account information. You can also check your admissions and registration data.

To access Smartweb financial aid information you do the following:

1. Go to www.csusm.edu/finaid
2. Click on “Financial Aid Information”
3. Click on “SMARTWeb”
4. Click on “Enter Secure Area”
5. Enter User ID and PIN # *
6. Click on “Enrollment Services, Financial Aid…”
7. Click on “Financial Aid” for your specific FA info

*User ID and PIN # is your social security number and until you change it (and for privacy we suggest you do) your Pin # is your birthdate MMDDYY.

EMAIL

We communicate with all continuing Cal State San Marcos students via email. Both document requests and award letters will be emailed to your Cal State San Marcos student account. If you regularly use another outside account, you can have your student email forwarded. Go http://webmail.csusm.edu for instructions on how to set up the forward.
