          Scholarship  selected in the spring semester

One $300 scholarship is awarded to a non-U.S. citizen, but in the U.S. progressing toward permanent residency, proof of progress is required. Student needs to be enrolled in at least 6 units, documented academic merit, financial need, and documented (per essay) that he/she has overcome obstacles or adversity in order to attend CSUSM.
