CSUSM Fall Scholarships

J. Douglas and Marian R. Pardee Foundation Scholarship ~ 50  $2000 scholarships will be provided to qualified Cal State San Marcos students.

Alumni Association Scholarship ~ 2 awards at $250 each to a Cal State San Marcos alumnus enrolled in a degree or certificate program.

Bree Tinney Women’s Studies Scholarship ~ One award at $850 to a student enrolled in the Cal State San Marcos Women’s Studies program.

John Burnham Foundation Scholarship ~ Two awards at $2000 each for a graduate or undergraduate business or pre-business student.

CSU Graduate Equity Fellowship ~ Two awards at $2000 each and one award at $1000 to graduate students who are underrepresented in their areas of study.

Jean and W. Keith Kellogg Scholarship ~ Four awards at $1500 each to undergraduate students who are registered in at least 12 units.

Jim Kuden Family Scholarship ~ Scholarships are awarded to support students enrolled in The College of Business Administration who have an interest in entrepreneurship. Students must have a 3.00 or higher GPA and financial need.

Edmond Kwan Memorial Scholarship ~ One award for $460 will be offered to a Finance Major.

Peggy Adams Memorial Scholarship ~ Three awards at $500 each will be selected for someone who is a re-entry student who has experienced an interruption in their education.

President’s Circle Scholarship ~ Two awards at $2500 for a student with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5,

Lt. Colonel AJ Pack Veterans Scholarship ~ The Lieutenant Colonel AJ Pack Veterans Scholarship was established by Joshua Pack to honor students who have been or currently serving in the US military.  The scholarship is open to students who have a 3.0 GPA.  Preference will be given to students who have been in combat duty.  Students in any major or College are encouraged to apply .

Christopher L. Whitman Scholarship ~ This scholarship was created to honor Christopher L. Whitman who lost his life at a very young age.  Scholarships are awarded to students with a 3.0 GPA, who are incoming freshmen and are business majors.  Low to moderate need is preferred and priority is given to those students who express an interest in music, sports or charity/social work.

Joel Grinolds Memorial Scholarship ~ One scholarship is awarded for $300 and will be awarded to a student who is a Nursing or Health Sciences Major with a minimum 3.00 GPA.

The Osher Foundation ~Scholarships are awarded up to $2500 each to students who have transferred from a California Community College with at least 60 semester units and are entering or have entered CSUSM at the junior level or above. Demonstrated financial need is required.

The Hein Family Fellowship ~ This scholarship was created by the Hein Family to support Graduate level students in the College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral and Social Sciences. This scholarship is awarded to students who have a minimum 3.00 GPA with preference to students who are first-generation college students. Demonstrated financial need is required.

LPL Financial ~ This scholarship was created by Esther Stearns of LPL Financial to support those student who are majors in the College of Business Administration with a preference to Finance Majors. Students must have a “business status” and those enrolled as Pre-Business are not eligible. Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 GPA.

Keogh-Yoshii Scholarship ~ This scholarship is awarded to students who are Computer Science Majors who are at the Junior or Senior level. Only available to Undergraduate students.

Karnik Family Scholarship ~ This scholarship is awarded to freshmen level students with demonstrated high financial need, and a minimum 3.00 GPA.

Student Philanthropy Fund ~ Scholarships are awarded to students with a minimum 3.00 GPA. Available to all undergraduate students with financial need and enrolled full-time.
