FAQ

1. How will I know my check has arrived?

Once the check is processed, you will see your scholarship award on your student account in MyCSUSM.

2. My donor said the check was sent, but I do not see the funds on my account.

Once our institution receives the check, our processing time may vary from 1-3 business days.  If the check was mailed from the donor more than three weeks ago, we likely did not receive the check.  Please contact Student Financial Services and be ready to provide: the date of mailing, address check was mailed to, and check number.

3. I cannot log in and complete my General Scholarship Application from Academic Works.

If you are an admitted student and already have a Cougar email, please remember to use your Cougar email address when logging in.  You may recover your password if you still are unable to login.

If you are not an admitted CSUSM student, please use your personal email address when logging in.  You may resend your confirmation if you did not receive an email inviting you to create an account with Academic Works.
