OneDrive for Business is automatically enabled for current all Faculty, Staff, and Students at CSUSM. OneDrive is part of the Office 365 online product suite that allows you to store documents online, share them with other people, and synchronize them to your desktop, laptop, tablet, and most smartphones. Your storage limit for OneDrive is 1 TB (terabit). Users can upload files of up to 10GB in size for SharePoint Team Sites, OneDrive for Business and Office 365 Groups.
Usage of OneDrive for Business documents is subject to existing CSU Information Security Policy, Chancellor’s Office Executive Orders, and University guidelines, standards and Administrative
Procedures. In addition, OneDrive for Business must not be used for storing any campus
Levels 1 and 2 confidential data. Specific examples of Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 data are explained in the preceding
Note: OneDrive for Business is not the same as OneDrive service that Microsoft offers for personal online storage use. OneDrive for Business offers online storage for your work documents and file sharing among campus users.
