Are you tired of getting emails from: mailman-bounces@coyote.csusm.edu
with the subject: coyote.csusm.edu mailing list memberships reminder

To turn off these reminders:

  1. Go to your personal, list member page:
    http://coyote.csusm.edu/mailman/options/[the name of your list]/[youremail]%40[yourisp.edu]
    type your list password in the field provided, and click "Log in"

    Note: [the name of your list] is the specific name of your mailing list.  [youremail] is your email prefix; the %40 represents the "@" symbol; and [yourisp.edu] is the name of your internet service provider (ISP) and usually ends in .com or .edu

    Note: The confirmation email you received, when you joined this mailing list contains a link to this page, and gave you your mailing list password.
     
  2. Once logged in, you will see a page that lists all your personal settings for this list.
  3. In the area for "Get password reminder email for this list?" (the sixth grey line, as you scroll down), set this option to "No," and check the box to "Set globally," then scroll down the page and click "Submit My Changes."
  4. When you want to start receiving membership reminders again, just return to your settings page and set that option to "Yes," and check the box to "Set globally," then scroll down the page and click "Submit My Changes."

Turn off my subscription, temporarily

    type your list password in the field provided, and click "Log in"

    Note: [the name of your list] is the specific name of your mailing list.  [youremail] is your email prefix; the %40 represents the "@" symbol; and [yourisp.edu] is the name of your internet service provider (ISP) and usually ends in .com or .edu

    Note: The confirmation email you received, when you joined this mailing list contains a link to this page, and gave you your mailing list password.
     
  2. Once logged in, you will see a page that lists all your personal settings for this list.
  3. In the area for "Mail delivery" (the first grey line, as you scroll down), set this option to "Disabled," scroll down the page and click "Submit My Changes."
  4. When you want to start receiving mail from the list again, just return to your settings page and set that option to "Enabled," scroll down the page and click "Submit My Changes."

Unsubscribe yourself from a list

  1. Go to your personal, list member page:

    type your list password in the field provided, and click "Log in"

  2. Once logged in, you will see a page that lists all your personal settings for this list.
  3. In the area for "Unsubscribing from [the name of your list]"
    1. Read the directions and the warning
    2. Check the confirmation checkbox and click the button to unsubscribe from this mailing list.
