WOMEN OF COLOR TALKING CIRCLE
Meets at 6:00pm on Feb. 5, March 5, April 9
A time for Women of Color to share our histories, experiences, and struggles without feeling judged, silenced, or studied. Together we will build a place where we can become stronger - as a community and as individuals. In our Talking Circle, women of color will find the support and acceptance sometimes not afforded in our own communities, campuses and families. This group is open to all those who identify as women of color.
QUEER WOMEN TOGETHER
Meets at 6:00pm on Feb. 19, March 19, April 23
This group is for women who identify as a part of the LBTQ community to share and explore issues affecting us as LBTQ CSUSM students. Every group we'll have a different topic up for discussion, from where to find a girlfriend to combating homophobic sexism. We will also watch movies and share new magazines and books that represent the LBTQ community. Email genderequity@csusm.edu for more information.
WHO'S DA MAN? A MENS DISCUSSION GROUP
Meets at 6:00pm on Feb. 20, March 20, April 10
This group is open to all self-identified men to discuss what it means for us to be men and express healthy masculinity. Together we explore lessons we learned about what it means to be a man, how we use our masculinity, and how we can support each other as men who want to revolutionize masculinity!
