Workshop Proposals

Proposal Deadline: Monday, Jan. 28th.
Presenters will be selected and notified by email on Monday, Feb. 4th. 

We welcome educators, students, and community members to submit their workshop proposals for the CSUSM Women Empowered! Leadership Summit. Each workshop will be an hour and 15 minutes. Workshops that are interactive and rooted in praxis will be highly considered. Workshop proposals that are incomplete will not be considered. 

Workshop Themes 

Session 1: Empowering the Leader Within. 
The goal of this theme is to empower women to use their voice, develop greater self-confidence, and have a greater understanding of their personal strengths and areas for growth. 

Session 2: Leadership for Social Change.
The goal of this theme is to give women concrete tools for practicing leadership for the higher purpose of social justice. 

Session 3: Having it all? Managing a Work-Life Balance. 
The goal of this theme is to offer participants skills and allowance to maintain a healthy work life balance and to practice self-care.
